Send email from Mastery HQ

Two tiers

• Out of the box — with nothing configured, sends go through Mastery HQ’s relay and arrive from agent@send.masteryhq.dev. Lower daily limit; recipients see the relay address, not yours.
• Your Gmail address — set up an app password once (below) and sends come from you, with replies straight to your inbox and a higher daily limit.

Set up Gmail (once, optional)

1. Turn on 2-step verification for your Google account, if it isn’t already.
2. Create an app password at myaccount.google.com/apppasswords — name it anything (“Mastery HQ”).
3. In Settings → Google → Email, enter your Gmail address and paste the 16-character password, then Save email setup. It’s encrypted on this device and never leaves it.

Use it

In the command bar (typed or spoken), with an agent window focused:

• “email the transcript to ada@example.com”
• “send the transcript to ada@example.com by email”

The confirmation card shows who it’s going to, the subject, and a preview — nothing sends until you click Send email. The result lands in the agent’s transcript and the Audit Log.

Guardrails

• Always confirms — every send shows the card, even remote (Hermes) or agent-initiated ones; unanswered cards cancel after 90 seconds.
• First-time recipients are flagged on the card.
• Daily limit — sends stop at the cap and resume tomorrow (relay sends are also capped server-side).
• With Gmail set up, sends come from your address, so replies go straight to your inbox. Relay sends carry a footer identifying the relay, so recipients know where the mail came from.
